We earn a tiny transaction handling fee only when you cash out funds from your digital wallet to an external commercial bank account. We do not touch your circle drops or take a percentage of your contributions.
Each circle defines its own penalty rule before launch (either None, a Flat Naira amount like ₦500, or a Percentage like 5%). If a member misses the cycle deadline, the automated system applies that penalty to protect punctual members. This fee goes to the circle pool or compensation fund according to circle rules, not to us.
Funding via your personal dedicated Kuda virtual bank account is completely free from our end. Your originating bank (e.g. GTBank, Zenith, OPay) may only charge their standard interbank transfer fee (typically ₦10 to ₦25, or ₦0 for apps like OPay/PalmPay).
Yes. Some community group managers set a modest commission (e.g., flat ₦1,000 or 2%) to cover group administrative work. If a circle has a commission, it is clearly highlighted on the circle details page before you click "Join Circle". You always have 100% control over which circles you enter.
