Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of CashFlow Circle. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into financial agreements under Nigerian law. You must provide accurate registration information.

2. How the Service Works

• CashFlow Circle is a platform for organising savings circles (ajo/esusu). We provide wallets, automated contribution scheduling, ledgers, and payout tracking.
• Administrators create circles, add or approve members, review funding requests, and process withdrawals to bank accounts.
• Your wallet balance represents funds held for you within the platform's system.

3. Your Responsibilities

• Maintain sufficient wallet balance before your circle's deduction dates.
• Provide a bank account in your own name for withdrawals.
• Keep your login credentials secure — you are responsible for activity on your account.
• Do not use the platform for fraud, money laundering, or any unlawful purpose.

4. Contributions, Defaults & Penalties

By joining a circle you commit to contributing the circle's amount every cycle until the circle completes. Missed contributions attract the penalty configured for that circle, and repeated defaults may result in removal from the circle as described in its rules.

5. Payouts & Locked Funds

Payouts follow each circle's position order. Funds received within an active circle remain locked until that circle completes all cycles; locked funds cannot be withdrawn early.

6. Withdrawals

Withdrawal requests are reviewed by administrators before payment. We may reject a request that fails verification or appears fraudulent, in which case the held amount is returned to your wallet. Applicable fees are displayed before you confirm any request.

7. Fees

Joining and saving are free. Withdrawal fees (if any) and circle penalties are disclosed in-app before they apply.

8. Limitation of Liability

The platform is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for losses arising from a member's breach of their circle obligations. Our total liability for direct losses is limited to the balance held in your wallet at the time the loss occurred.

9. Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or close accounts that violate these Terms, attempt fraud, or abuse the platform. You may stop using the service at any time; funds in your available balance will be returned via withdrawal after standard verification.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms. Material changes will be announced in the app, and continued use constitutes acceptance.
